I listened to your interview with Lex today and enjoyed it! And to your comments on your bias towards being well mannered, we'll spoken and empathetic...etc. all of whichbJD is. But there is something to be said about the "larger than life" personality that Tru.ph bbri is to the table...that will spoken folks might not be able to accomplish. But you said it right - You take the good with the bad or the bad with the good.Whichever way you want to say it!

I really enjoyed the interview with Lex. I learned quite a bit today from the interview. I'm especially grateful for the book recommendation. I really value recommendations from people who have a real command of the subject matter. I am particularly interested in the history recommendations.

Listened to the pod, thanks for reminding me what a great book Endurance is. To me, Shackleton used the greatest tool to hire his crew, the vibe check.

I listen to Breaking Points and after listening to Lex's pod, I gained a new respect for your knowledge and experience. You are an interesting mix of conservative politics, social conservative and avowed atheist (I think). I don't say that in a pejorative way, but just to recognize it as a unique combination of qualities. I think you should do more solo podcasts, even host your own. Krystal holds you back and we miss many insights you might have, because she tends to dominate the conversation.

A copy of Essence of decision on Amazon is over 600 fucking dollars and eBay has one copy for over 100. They’re not even the updated version either. It is available for free if you sign up for a couple of different sites when you Google search. I wonder why it’s so hard to get ahold of??

I watch Breaking Points and at first I was as ignorant of your political background as I was was of Emily Jashinshy's. I first encounter Emily before she and Ryan left RISING. FAST FORWARD: I now realze the format you Krystal and perhaps RISING seek to create is a combinations of anchors structured on a point counter point. This is new and welcomed I hope it survives. Its better than Cenk and TYT. Still while listened to your interview with Lex I was taken aback by your use of the term wokeism. I kept thinking why doesn't he just say, affirmative action? You cite FDR but not the NEW DEAL. You cite LBJ but not the civil rights bill? Affirmative actions might be the grandchild of these legislative movements channeled under these administrations. Right? Then again as I listen to you go on about elites, I kept waiting on terms such as Neo-Liberalism and its beholding to corporate capture. Did I miss something? Do you not feel that the elites you did mention are the same as corporations that hold the power over elected officials? I came across a book and am reading it now: THE DEATH OF THE LIBERAL CLASS by Chris Hedges. I will continue to watch Breaking News and CounterPoints with more knowledge about you. I might skip some of the books but I did appreciate your forthrightness
